#1.  When you unlock your iPhone, it all of the sudden becomes capable of using different applications that the iTunes app store does not currently support. This means that anyone with a Android, Blackberry, or any other smart phone will not be able to hold it over your head that they have great apps, that you cannot use because you have an iPhone. You will be able to use them, the best part is that this whole process only takes a few moments. Less then TEN MINUTES and your done.

#2.  You should unlock your iPhone4s, or any iPhone you currently have. It is very very easy to do, then you can access a WHOLE new world of apps that iTunes is too stubborn to include in their store. I personally have had an iPhone the entire time they have been out, I am now on my 3rd iPhone, and I love them. But common, they need to be unlocked, its just a must if you want to have access to all of the great apps out there.
